Mitch Wagner Design created and manages the website while also doing a lot of flyer design for the non-profit, the M.M. Seylar Elementary Home & School Association. They normally have about one event a month. We design the flyers that get sent out to parents to notify them of the event. The first year, we were tasked with creating a website for the annual Race For Education to collect donations and push information to parents. Now, we have transformed it into a full website that includes information about the organization, details for parents, an event ticketing/registration management system, a login protected family directory, and a hub for the Race For Education donations, forms, and prizes.
Just the homepage, the website serves as a hub to the annual fundraiser. A form is opened to participants to submit emails to be sent a donation request, shirt sizes, student information, and to submit a single donation. Friends and family wishing to donate to students can do so here. Events are published on the website with dates and details. Families then purchase tickets online with either a credit card or choose to send in cash payment to be accepted by an administrator. Events are published on the website with dates and details. This screen is customized per event to collect relevant information. Every family in the school creates a login at the beginning of the year, and are the only ones accessible to the information. This is a screenshot of what it looks like behind the login screen. Next year, a new system will be coming to give an even more interactive experience.
