Sharing Assets/Text Content With Trello

You may be at the step in our design process of submitting your image assets for your project. We use Trello all of the time to collaborate with our clients. If this is your first time using Trello, we suggest that you read our knowledge base article, All About Trello, so you can learn the lingo and the functions that we will refer to multiple times in this article.

Sharing Files

1) Open your project board by logging in to Trello with the account you created.

2) Find the list labeled 'File Collection'.

3) In this list you will see multiple cards describing the placement of different pictures.

4) Drag the files over the card name and drop when the words 'Drop to files to upload.' appear. To upload from a cloud service or to select the files from your computer manually, click the card, and press add 'Attachment' to the right.

5) If you have a preference, add a comment for the desired use of the image.

5) Repeat step four until you have uploaded all desired files. Upload any others to the 'Other' Card at the bottom of the list and comment where they should be used. To view attached files, click the card.

Sending Text Content

1) Open your project board by logging in to Trello with the account you created.

2) Find the list labeled 'Text Content Collection'.

3) In the list you will find multiple cards named by the placement of the text and/or a text box code.

4) Click the card. Read the description to see what we are requesting. Add a comment with your desired text content in it. Some of these cards will be for social links, contact information, etc.
